We Are Safe Up Here

We Are Safe Up Here." This started out as a doodle in my class influenced by the Philippine Eagle Week, saw potential as it builds up in the same classroom each week the took it with me at home to finish. While being very fast and efficient in the art and entertainment industry is highly valued, sometimes it's good (healthy even) to do a slow paintings to relieve stress from the busy mind, taking away the pressure of deadlines and just enjoy the process of painting.

I wanted to paint the Philippine Eagle (Haribon) so bad for a long time now, I really wish this was finished during the Philippine Eagle Week to reach more people. But consider this pieces as my contribution to spread awareness as well as educate folks not to kill these wonderful animals. They instead badly need protection, as their homes are being destroyed every single day. I hope for them to recover and thrive in the future.
